Elan KiwiFix, 10 g, is a fixing balm for lash lamination, "glue without glue", in new packaging: it holds lashes on the silicone rod throughout the whole procedure without shifting or sticking together, doesn't dry out and never forms a dense film, so hairs can be repositioned with a microbrush at any point.

How long it lasts
Balm usage depends on the client's lash density: coarse or unruly hairs need a thicker layer, fine and sparse ones a thinner layer. Since the balm doesn't dry into a dense film, a technician can work with the same layer longer without reapplying. Track your own usage over the first few procedures, it gives you a benchmark for a 10 g bottle in your practice.
Who it's for
The balm suits a technician who performs lash lamination on different densities and needs flexible, glue-free fixing: the texture allows combing through lashes during layout and adjusting direction with a microbrush until the procedure is done. It's a salon product used within a lamination or lift procedure.
Short application guide
Lashes are cleansed with ÉLAN Detox-Mousse 2.0, with extra degreasing if needed. The balm is applied in a medium-thickness layer to the silicone rod, lashes are laid out with a microbrush and applicator in the desired direction.
Coarse hairs get a thicker layer, without excess. If needed, lashes are repositioned before applying the second product. At the end of the procedure, residual balm is removed with a damp cotton pad.
