How does an acidic pH of 4.0–4.2 work?

After coloring and lightening, hair can become more porous and rough. The acidic environment of DAÉLI Post Color helps reduce swelling of the hair shaft and helps the cuticle scales, its outer protective layer, lie flatter. As a result, the hair surface becomes smoother, reflects light better, and the lengths look shiny and well-groomed.

This pH supports the care of colored hair, but does not "seal" the pigment forever: shade longevity also depends on the condition of the hair, the dye, washing frequency and water temperature.
