Lash Lamination Glue

Sort:
View:

Lash lamination glue holds the lashes on the silicone pad while the solutions work. This section has two formats: classic glue and a “no-glue” glue balm. Choose it together with the lamination kit you work with.

Which lash lamination glue to choose: format, consistency, volume

The main question is where to apply the product. Classic glue goes on the pad, while the “no-glue” balm goes straight onto the lashes.

Next, check whether the lashes can be adjusted after fixing. Some formulas allow this, and some never dry completely, so the lashes can still be adjusted.

Choose the volume by the number of treatments: an opened product keeps for a limited time, and for one of the balms it is 6 months. A bottle with a brush, like the 5 ml glue bottle, helps you avoid using too much.

Glue or the “no-glue” format: what is the difference

Classic glue holds the lashes on the pad until the end of the treatment. The “no-glue” balm does not form a film, so the solutions reach the hairs through it, and the lashes lie less rigidly and can be adjusted. An example of this format: the “no-glue” glue balm.

How to apply lash lamination glue: step by step

First, the skin is cleansed of makeup. The pad is fixed on the eyelid with a small amount of glue, then glue is applied to the pad itself, the lashes are laid on it and pressed with an applicator. After the treatment, the pad is carefully removed.

The balm is spread over the lashes with a thin brush and the lashes are set in their natural direction. For how much product to take and how long to leave the solutions on, see the instructions for your system.

What you need for lash lamination besides glue: degreaser, brushes, pads

Besides glue, you will need a degreaser for the skin before the treatment, brushes for application and silicone pads.

How long lash lamination lasts and whether it depends on the glue

The glue is needed only during the treatment, so that the lashes lie on the pad. How long the result lasts depends on the condition of the lashes and the care after lamination.

Frequently asked questions about lash lamination glue

Which lash lamination glue should I choose?
If the lashes need to be fixed on the pad, take the classic glue. If you want to work without a film and adjust the lashes as you go, the “no-glue” balm will do.
How does the “no-glue” glue differ from the classic one?
It does not create a film and does not hold the lashes rigidly, so they can be repositioned during the work.
How do you apply lash lamination glue?
In a thin layer on the silicone pad, and only then are the lashes laid on it. The exact amount is given in the instructions for your system.
Can lamination glue be replaced with another glue?
The glue works in one system with the lamination products, so a replacement is checked against the system manufacturer’s instructions. What the glue has to do and what can replace it is explained in detail in the blog article on why lash lamination does not last.
